A polychrome ceramic vase decorated with two Far Eastern figures, a couple in traditional tunics on a stylized rug, near a screen that also serves as a vase. The entire piece is highlighted with gold. This object bears an impressed mark on the underside, the origin of which is yet to be determined; it may be related to Bordeaux faience. Late 19th century.
