Aubusson Manufactory: Large flat-weave wool rug with a cotton foundation, tapestry technique, featuring a central floral medallion on an almond green field, corners decorated with bouquets, and simulated framed borders. Work from the mid-19th century. Condition: This lovely rug has retained its beautiful colors and has no tears or patches. However, it is in "as recently as it was taken from a home" condition, showing localized wear to the material and repairs to the seams. It is perfectly functional but should be handled with care. Very decorative. PLEASE NOTE: Please carefully note the rug's condition; look at the photos. The price reflects this for a large, antique rug.
