"Pair Of Wooden Candlesticks - Torchera Style - Louis XIII Period - 58 Cm"
Superb pair of carved wooden candlesticks, Louis XIII period. These pieces feature an elegant, slender stem adorned with gadrooned and fluted motifs, and a foot with moldings typical of the style. The original patina is perfectly preserved. Height: 58 cm (the second one measures 57 cm). Louis XIII period. Good overall condition, minor wear consistent with age. The upper section has been fitted with a modern metal element for installing a light bulb. Easily removable if one wishes to restore the original function.
