Antique Indian Silver Tea Set, Kashmir Kangri Form, Cobra Snake

A rare Kashmiri silver decorative tea set in the traditional Kangri form, c.1890.

Comprising a teapot, a small jug, and a sugar bowl, each beautifully worked with chased floral panels and the characteristic Kangri basket-like lower body.

The teapot features a striking coiled cobra finial. Handles and spouts are finely modelled; the overall workmanship is detailed and expressive, showing the high level of regional craftsmanship.

Teapot height approx. 14 cm. Total weight approx. 415 g.
