According to Louis Majorelle: A rare and large Art Nouveau cabinet in mahogany and embossed leather. It opens at the front with two doors and two leather-lined drawers. The drawer pulls are in Bakelite imitating marble and silver-plated metal. The upper section has a mirrored back and a marble top. The sides are tiered. The cabinet has a delicately flared and rounded shape and rests on stylized feet. It bears a plaque from the renowned manufacturer: Mercier, Faubourg Saint Antoine, Paris.
