Pair of antique gilded shelves with majolica from the 1700s, small shaped shelves in carved and gilded wood, made with a lid divided into two parts from an antique soup tureen produced by an 18th-century manufacturer, hand-painted with polychrome floral decorations on a white background.
The majolica is framed by a half-moon structure in wood carved with plant motifs and gilded with pure gold leaf. The upper part, the shaped wooden top of the shelves, is lacquered in dark green faux marble.
This pair of antique carved and gilded wooden shelves with polychrome majolica from the 1700s were handmade in the 19th century and are in good condition.
They come from a private collection.
