Rino Greggio – Hammered Solid Silver Floral Bowl, Padua, 1948-1968
Circular hammered solid silver bowl with a wide rim shaped in eight flowing lobes forming open petals.
The softened edge and gentle transitions between the raised sections reveal the finesse of the hammer work, characteristic of Rino GREGGIO’s early production in Padua.
The smooth interior contrasts with the evenly hammered walls, whose shimmering reflections enhance the purity of the metal.

Rino GREGGIO founds his workshop in Padua in 1948, giving birth to what will become one of Italy’s foremost silver manufactories.
His early creations, entirely handcrafted, combine the precision of classical silversmithing with the organic softness of post-war Italian design.
Each piece reflects a meticulous search for proportion, light and tactile harmony, qualities that later define the reputation of Greggio Argenterie.
From this Padua workshop emerges, in the 1960s, the Greggio Argenterie S.p.A. group, soon recognised among the leading Italian silversmithing houses.
Faithful to the spirit of its founder, the company preserves the taste for balanced forms and the perfection of surface that characterise the work of Rino GREGGIO.
