Pomponne Snuffbox, Late 18th Century, Louis XVI Style
A pomponne snuffbox decorated with friezes and cartouches featuring buildings in landscapes, each different and on all sides. Two hallmarks are present on the inner rim of the box. Wear, but good Louis XVI condition. Late 18th/early 19th century (see photos).
