18th Century Pink Diamond Earrings In Gold And Silver
These sparkling teardrop earrings are set with rose-cut diamonds on silver with a gold back. The hook attachment, decorated with a small leaf motif, is set with nine tiny roses, upon which is articulated a pear-shaped motif set with ten roses in a graduated arrangement, with a larger pear-shaped rose-cut diamond as a pendant in the center.
No hallmarks. Hooks of 18-karat gold tested with a touchstone.
Excellent condition, 18th century, circa 1780.
