Oil on hardboard depicting a street in Hanoi. Signed by the artist and dated 1986. 16 cm high x 20 cm wide without the frame, 23 x 25 cm with. From the private collection of a French agricultural engineer on assignment in Vietnam in the 1980s, who acquired the work directly during his stay in Hanoi. Good overall condition. Little information is available about this artist except that he was born in Cambodia on September 1, 1941, and died in Hai Phong on July 29, 2020. He was a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and an active member of the Hanoi painting community from the 1980s onward.
