"Large Virgin, 16th Century."
Large oak Virgin and Child from the late 16th century. She holds the infant Jesus on her right arm, who appears to be seated on a throne. The Virgin is dressed in a beautifully draped garment, and her hair falls freely over her shoulders. There are some visible losses to this large statue, but it is otherwise in very good condition.
