Short, five-sided barrel at the breech, 75.5 cm long, 80.5 cm long including the breech tang, marked "M an 9" and dated 1815 with a "G" stamp. 17 mm caliber. Walnut stock. Brass muzzle cap. Iron sling swivel with a rod secured by a screw. Brass trigger guard, side plate, and butt plate. Year IX flintlock mechanism signed "Manufacture royale de Saint Étienne" with a stamp. Original iron ramrod with a stamp. Overall length 114.5 cm. Very good working order with a strong spring. France. Hundred Days, First Empire.
