An elegant pair of Restoration armchairs, dating from the 14th century, circa 1830, crafted from richly veined Cuban mahogany. The palmette-carved armrests and straight uprights exemplify the harmonious transition between the Empire style and the gentler Restoration. The chairs feature a curved back, a comfortable and stable seat, and are upholstered in yellow velvet with a diamond pattern, all in excellent condition. Seat height: 48 cm.
