An excellent quality portrait in very good condition of the actress and poet Mary Robinson in her role as "Perdita." She wears a wide-brimmed hat adorned with feathers, powdered hair, and a black dress with a red design. This work is a variant of another portrait of Robinson by Sir Joshua Reynolds. Presented in an antique deep-section gilt Regency frame. Dimensions: approximately 99 x 86 cm (framed).
