Early 20th Century Portrait Of Anna Manfrin Lamberti

Refined oil painting on canvas, framed in carved and gilded wood. The painting depicts Anna Manfrin Lamberti (1875-1920), a Venetian noblewoman, daughter of Senator Pietro Manfrin di Castione, and wife of Florentine nobleman Pier Lamberto Mosca Lamberti. The woman is depicted standing in front of an antique chest bearing the Medici coat of arms and another family crest. Curtains are visible behind her, while a dog sits beside her on the chest. The woman's portrait is remarkable for its realistic rendering and pictorial technique. She is in a smiling pose, wearing an elegant black dress, a shawl, and embellished with jewels. This painting, with its detailed rendering and style, exudes great taste and elegance, capable of adding a touch of sophistication and history to any space. The portrait is also signed in the upper left corner by the Florentine painter Giuseppe Cassioli (1865-1942), famous for his sculptures and paintings of great importance, and active in Tuscany and much of the world.
