We present this framed rectangular watercolor by Pierre Gaillardot, depicting a mounted horse race, most likely in Deauville, where he worked and lived. He was born on August 2, 1910, in Saint-Florentin and died on June 28, 2002, at the age of 91. He is classified as a watercolorist, painter, and draftsman. In 1966, he received the Puvis de Chavannes Prize, and in 1967, a retrospective exhibition of his works was held at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. Shipping extra (€25).
