"Original Poster From 1918 By Victor Prouvé "what We Owe To Our Colonies""
This poster evokes the idea of respect and obligation towards these distant territories towards the end of the First World War. Framed by two large palm trees, the poster is divided in two: at the top, a North African horseman emerges carrying the French flag; below, a text recalls the commitment alongside the French in mainland France and concludes with a reminder:
"In the common effort, common affection will grow even stronger."

Signed lower left V. Prouvé and dated 1918.
Height 65 cm – width 45 cm.
