"Pair Of 19th-century Silver-plated Metal And Crystal Display Stands"
Pair of 19th-century silver-plated display stands and crystal plates. Total height: 11.5 cm. Plate diameter: 25 cm. Superb pair of Louis XVI style display stands, the silver-plated mounts finely decorated with laurel wreaths, a ribbon, and pilasters. The gilding on the rims of the plates has worn away, and there are some small chips to the tips of the lacework around the edges, but nothing serious. The plates also feature a lovely engraved design, probably Baccarat or Saint Louis, but too old to bear the hallmark of either crystal manufacturer.
