A very beautiful and charming wax figure from Nancy depicting the Infant Jesus. Made of wax, with a lowered gaze, clothed, his left hand holding a miniature gourd. Original glass-fronted box, made of yellow lacquered wood, original glass inserts. The Infant Jesus is surrounded by flowers in bridal vases. Small reliquaries can be seen hanging on the back panel (some are missing). In used condition, with general wear and patina consistent with age, the figure of Jesus is in good condition.
