Louis Crombin (Brussels, 1872-?)
Belgian painter. Trained at the Brussels Academy under JF Portaels and J. Stallaert. Evolved from Fauvism towards a Cézanne-like style. Worked in Belgium, the south of France, the Morvan region, and the Auxerre area. Exhibited with the Nervia Group at the Giroux Gallery, participated in the creation of "La Maison Wallonne," and participated in the Ghent Triennial Exhibition in 1925 and the "Chaînon" exhibitions.
