"Patinated And Gilded Bronze Urn Clock "

A beautiful and large patinated bronze and gilt bronze urn-shaped clock with a lovely relief decoration of antique soldiers. It is mounted on a black marble base. The piece is in fairly good overall condition, but as you can see from the photos, some restoration will be necessary. There have been repairs to the lower part of the base on one corner, and a beaded frieze is probably missing from the lower part of the base as well. The balance cock movement is present but not mounted inside. The holes for the hands and the winding mechanism fit the movement perfectly, but is it the correct movement? The plate that holds the movement has no feet; how was it mounted? Therefore, the piece needs further work. Height: 42 cm
