This studio bust, in plaster or clay, was created by Charles Filleul and comes directly from his workshop. It is beautifully crafted and mounted on a blackened pearwood base with a metal frame. We note some signs of wear consistent with age, including small dents and dings. Charles Filleul (1856-1907), a French sculptor of busts and figures, was a student of Cavelier and A.
