On the base on which it rests, a plaque bears the title of the figure (Confidence) and, next to it, is engraved the name of the artist who inspired this work. Désiré Grisard was a French artist born in 1872, well known for his works in the modernist or Art Nouveau style, and he produced a series of truly striking figures. -
