"Wedding Chest (cassone), Tuscany, 16th Century"
Chest with front decorated with gold medallions bearing noble coats of arms, Tuscany, 16th century, 140x44 cm, height 52 cm. The chest has undergone some restoration work in the past. The bottom has been reinforced and the sides have undergone some pictorial retouching. However, all restoration work is visible.
