Polychrome and gilded wooden sculpture representing Seishi Bosatsu (Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta), symbolizing strength and wisdom. In Japan, he was often depicted with the Buddha Amida and Kannon Bosatsu, forming with them the "Amida Triad". On his crown, he wears his characteristic amulet: a small water bottle (suibyō 水瓶) symbolizing wisdom.
