A Green Man Oak Arch, 16th Century
A charming fragment of early 16th-century carved oak arched church furniture depicting the face of a green man at the top with leafy organic fruiting bodies on either side. Half another head is visible to the right, at the original junction of another arch. Beautiful dark brown patina.
