Rare "Curiosity" and very beautiful lamp in bright blue earthenware nuanced in the shape of a large basin with four ribbed feet, open white enameled internally and punctuated with holes letting the light pass laterally in addition to the generous vertical beam; composed of four times 16 blown flowers on the front garnished with a clever extension of a blown glass tube in order to diffuse the light through the holes, a beautiful opulent and very decorative piece neat with perfect enameling and beautiful dimension, the very stable base decorated with a herringbone pattern in the mass forming a frieze above the powerful feet. The remarkable cover, this piece of design is signed "Art Luminescence. Paris", (manufacturing number on the back of the foot) on a label, it is an exceptional piece from the 40s/50s in very good condition, a period rich in decorative innovation concerning ambient lighting; the refined shape and the lighting trick create the atmosphere in a high-quality chosen decoration (piece in good condition)
