Large Plaster Christ Torso, 16th Century
A beautiful life-size torso depicting Christ -
Made of stucco, it is still possible to see that it was originally a polychrome Christ, dressed in pinstriped fabric, as was customary at the time.
The workmanship is evident in the face and body, by a Tuscan sculptor from the early 16th century. Unfortunately, the arms and legs have been lost over time. Of great artistic appeal.
Measures: height 115 cm, width 55 cm.
