Beautiful polar bear in carved wood, anonymous work, but dated under the base 1947.
A nice "gouge", even if, apparently, a "piece" of wood was necessary to finish the bottom!...(this is in no way a restoration!).
Solid beech wood on elm burl base, waxed finish.
Personally, I prefer the object without its base, which makes it heavier, but it will be delivered complete...
Beautiful decorative size, and in excellent condition, without missing parts...
Length = 35 cm, height = 22.5 cm including 2.5 cm for the base, Width = 10.2 cm for the bear, 14.7 cm at the base.
Total weight = 2.820 kg
