This large statue represents Saint Joseph holding the baby Jesus in his arms. Saint Joseph is often depicted with lilies, a symbol of purity. He carries the baby Jesus in his arms, emphasizing his role as the protective father in the Holy Family. It is made of plaster and was purchased from the Clarisse Sisters in their Monastery in Nice, which was given to the Little Sisters of the Poor in 2024. It has several defects, a few spots on its dress at the sleeves and drapery, and the foot of the baby Jesus is glued back on. It deserves restoration. The statue is signed PIERACCINI on the back of its terrace. It measures 83 cm in height and its square base 22 cm. Delivery in France and Europe.
