Venetian walnut cabinet from the 17th century, with sober and compact lines, featuring a central door with framed panel and fluted uprights. The architectural structure reflects the late Renaissance taste, still alive in the Venetian area during the 1600s, with modulated cornices and balanced proportions. The moulded and shaped base emphasizes its solidity, while the warm and even walnut patina, enriched by the natural oxidation of time, conveys a discreet and understated elegance. Originally conceived as a small cupboard or storage piece, it now stands as a fine example of antique furniture, suitable both for private collections and refined interiors.

Planned Interventions:

• Structural restoration: replacement of small missing parts, closure of any cracks in the back panel, consolidation of deteriorated areas, inspection and repair of hardware.

• Thorough anti-woodworm treatment.

• Cleaning and sanitization of interiors.

• Exterior finish with natural beeswax.

• Interior finish with shellac, a natural alcohol-based varnish.
