Sabre that equipped the infantry officers of the war of 14/18.
Complete with fawn leather loop, fawn leather scabbard sheath, fawn leather sabre suspension loop with brass hook. Good blade with median edge, marked "Manufacture Nationale d'armes de Châtellerault, June 1915 Officier d'Inferie Mle 1882". Nickel silver mount with rivet button and guard with three secondary branches. Filigree knuckle. Monogrammed with the officer's letters "EM". Scabbard in good condition with a bail ring.
