A simple Biedermeier chest in beautiful walnut veneer from Austria, circa 1840. Beautiful walnut veneer on solid maple wood. A mirror was added later to the lid. Brass hinges, iron key and lock. Visible traces of previous interior fittings inside. Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.
