"19th Century Charles X Silver Sewing Kit Lyre-shaped Marquetry Box"
Silver-gilt sewing kit in a lyre-shaped box.The scissors, thimble, awl, and lace-making needle are silver-gilt. The thimble has lost much of its gilding. All elements are hallmarked "boar's head."
The box is inlaid with rosewood, citron wood trim, and mother-of-pearl.
The box measures 13.6 cm in length.
