Lovely sculpture, brass bust representing an antelope. An impressive and heavy antelope head sculpted in brass rests on a round base. The bust is completed by two tall twisted horns. The piece presents a certain asymmetry which reflects the organic nature of the subject. This sculpture was produced in the United States in the 1970s responding to the American taste for Hollywood glamour and is reminiscent of the work of the famous designer Karl Springer.
