"Emile Gallé - Rare Artistic Tulip Vase, Fire-polished Decoration. Art Nouveau Period "
Rare vase by Emile Gallé in the shape of a shell with a hot-drawn neck decorated with tulips. Gallé's Artistic Glassworks with many glass techniques used. This is in fact an acid-etched glass that was reworked on the wheel to accentuate the details of the flowers with color inclusions in the decoration in interlayers. We find in particular purple in the flowers and milky white threads in the top of the vase as well as a green powdery trail in the foot. Richly engraved decoration on several layers with a fire-polished finish on the surface. Naturalist signature in hollow "Gallé". This is a signature that Gallé affixed to his rarest models. Art Nouveau period work circa 1900 in perfect condition.
