Francesco Vanni Attributed To
In its sumptuous frame in richly carved wood decorated with angel heads and scrolls ending at the base with a medallion, beautiful oil on canvas from the 17th century "the vision of Saint Francis of Assisi", in good condition apart from some cracks and old varnish, old collection wax seal on the back. Paintings by Francesco Vanni (1563-1610) can be found in several museums, some of which strongly resemble our work.
