Ruby Crystal And Silver Bronze, Circa 1890/1900 - Halphen & Baccarat
Superb and rare set from the Maison Baccarat, composed of four bowls and a double-tray mute server in ruby-lined crystal.
The mounts are in finely chiseled silvered bronze with scroll and foliage motifs, resting on graceful doe-shaped feet. Refined work from the Baccarat crystal works, circa 1890-1900. One of the bowls still bears its original Baccarat paper label.
The mute server is signed Halphen and numbered 24102, testifying to the collaboration between the two prestigious houses. Dimensions:
