Silver Bracelet Set With Garnets, 19th Century.
This very beautiful silver bracelet is made up of six links, each set with four garnets in the center and eight smaller ones, alternating with florets around the edge, the reverse is engraved with leafy scrolls. Different elements are in vermeil, this is the case of the florets interspersed between the garnets, the small round buttons which are in the center of the links, a torus located under the upper part and the fasteners which connect the links together, Although the gold is attenuated, this gives a light golden patina of the most beautiful effect. This very beautiful bracelet which we place in the middle of the 19th century is in the spirit of Renaissance jewelry which experienced a revival in the 19th century under the influence of the prestigious jeweler Froment Meurice. The clasp bears a master's mark which we have not identified, it includes an S and an H superimposed and separated by a hunting horn and a star, the control mark is a boar's head. It has a snap clasp and a safety chain. 19th century period. Wrist circumference 18 cm.
