Delphin Massier (1836-1907) was one of the great producers of ceramics, slips of the Côte d'Azur, at the end of the 19th century, whose quality of productions was notably recognized at the Exhibition of Ceramics and Fire Arts in Paris in 1897 where he obtained a diploma of honor.
