Important Louis XV style gilt bronze chandelier – 19th century Magnificent chandelier in chiseled and gilded bronze with twenty-four lights, distributed over two levels. Superb rococo-style ornamentation, embellished with finely chiseled foliage, scrolls and volutes. The richly decorated central shaft presents a composition with putti and plant garlands, typical of Parisian bronziers inspired by the grand Louis XV style. The sinuous light arms spread out harmoniously, supporting delicately crafted bobeches and fake candles with white sockets. Original gilding in very good condition, with a beautiful old patina. Recent and fully functional electrification.
