Mahogany Coffee Table, Late 18th Century
Beautiful Drum-shaped living room table, in Mahogany and Mahogany veneer, from the Directoire period, from the end of the 18th century. It opens on the front with a sliding slatted curtain. The uprights are rectangular fluted, connected by a crotch shelf and ending with a spindle-shaped base, fitted with gilt bronze clogs on its small original bronze wheels. Its top is a purple breccia, surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery, which measures 37 cm x 32 cm. The height is 72 cm. It is in very good condition.
