Eugène BOUDIN (1824.1898) Original drawing – Double-sided watercolor. Beach scene and genre scene. Graphite and watercolor. Circa 1865. Magnificent study by the pre-impressionist master depicting a seaside scene highlighting several figures busy around a boat and a rowboat near a shore. Format 14.50 x 22 cm. Stamp of his monogram at the bottom right (Lugt.828). On the back, Boudin has sketched a group of female figures. Foxing in the lower margin. Provenance: Rossini sale.
