Rosewood Chiffonier Coffee Table With Writing Drawer, Transition Period Circa 1770
Coffee table called a drum table in rosewood. It opens with 3 drawers, the first revealing a leather-lined writing desk and a shelf underneath. White marble top set in an openwork gallery. Parisian production from the Transition period, circa 1770-80. This small piece of furniture is characteristic of the lightness of the 18th century, called a flying one - it can be moved from room to room. Its integrated writing desk allows you to write "notes" at any time. Our table is in good general condition, varnish cleaned and repolished by our cabinetmaker. Height: 76cm Width: 48.5cm Depth: 34cm
