Pair Of 18th Century Flintlock Pistols, Signed Niquet Le Jeune In Liège
Pair of Belgian flintlock pistols dating from the 18th century, signed Niquet le Jeune in Liege on the lock. Carefully crafted walnut mounts. The barrels are decorated with Louis XIV style engraving. The counter lock and trigger guard are made of brass and engraved with a Louis XV style motif. For the woodwork, the transition style is represented by beautiful engraving. The stocks end in large chiseled brass caps. The loading rods are present and original. Very good condition.
