"Palatal Size Elephant Clock"
Sublime and rare Louis XV style gilt bronze and porcelain elephant clock ; the upper part decorated with a porcelain Chinese figure. This giant-sized clock rests on a gilt bronze base, the bronzes are finely chiseled (really of excellent quality).
The white enamel dial with hour and minute hands, signed "Planchon à Paris".
A French work circa 1880.
This clock is very impressive and of an extraordinary quality !

The mechanism needs to be cleaned by a clockmaker.
