Victor Wagemaekers (1876 -1953) is a Belgian painter and watercolorist, of landscapes, genre scenes and interiors. He was a student of Franz Courtens around 1900. He exhibited for the first time in 1899 with the group of artists Le Sillon in Brussels. In 1900, he was part of the administrative committee of the National Society of Watercolorists and Pastelists of Belgium and exhibited at several of the association's annual exhibitions. In 1909, he was a member of the Group of X. Renowned above all for his refined, clear and realistic watercolors.
