Fragment of a wool and silk tapestry depicting "Chiron, Achilles and Calchas" Louis XIV period, 17th century. In the foreground, we see Calchas dressed in a blue and beige drape, his gaze fixed on the sky. In the background, we see Achilles holding his spear at Chiron's side. The whole thing is set against a green, tree-lined background, revealing a house in the distance. Tapestry fully lined with its fastening system (slight wear and old restorations) Aubusson 17th century.
