Beautiful Persian miniatures in medallion; painted on shell, which they adopt the round shape and convex surface.
Two finely painted scenes are represented here, a hunting scene where a group of riders armed with sabers seems to try to put to flight a tiger which attacks their herd of goats; the other very animated scene seems to represent a garden where one can see a half-reclining character, a worthy erudite owner in his home, he is surrounded by various characters, servants, entertainers and other people busy around him to serve and entertain him.
