"Carved Wooden Head From Noyon, Late 18th Century"
Carved wooden head with its original polychromy from the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century, probably representing a king. This object must have been placed at the top of a procession chariot or at the end of a pole. An ink inscription allows us to know its origin "BOUQUET MADE BY BOURGOIS IN NOYON". Some small missing parts, the whole in good condition. Despite my research I have not found its function or use. If you find it I am interested.
